How Much Does a Roofing Website Cost in 2026?

By
, 6 minute read

A roofing website can cost anywhere from a few hundred dollars for a do-it-yourself builder to $18,000 or more for a large multi-city site built by an agency. Most established roofing companies end up somewhere between $4,500 and $9,500. Where you land depends on three things: how many pages you need, who writes the content, and whether the site is built to rank on Google or just to look nice.

Typical price ranges

Published 2026 pricing guides put roofing websites roughly in these bands (see the source at the end of this article):

Who builds itSmall site (about 6 pages)Storm-response or multi-city site
Do it yourself (Wix, Squarespace, WordPress)$0–$500 plus your timeRarely realistic
Freelancer$2,200–$3,800$4,500–$9,500
Agency$5,500–$9,000$9,500–$18,000+

What actually drives the price

Number of pages

A basic roofing site has around six pages: home, services, about, gallery, reviews and contact. A site built to rank has many more, because Google ranks pages, not websites. That means a separate page for roof replacement, repairs, storm damage, gutters and every other service, plus a page for each town you want work in.

Who writes the words

If you supply the text, the price drops. If the builder researches keywords and writes every service and city page for you, it costs more, but that writing is most of what makes a site rank.

Lead-capture features

A simple contact form is cheap. A multi-step quote form, call tracking, an instant-estimate calculator or a connection to your CRM all add cost, and all make it easier to turn visitors into booked inspections.

Storm-response pages

Roofers who work storm damage benefit from landing pages ready to switch on the day after hail or high winds hit an area. They're one of the main differences between a mid-range site and a premium one.

Monthly costs to budget for

The build is a one-time cost. After launch, expect some combination of:

  • Domain name: around $20 a year.
  • Hosting, security and backups: roughly $15–$80 a month depending on the size of the site.
  • SEO: $0 if you do it yourself, typically $500–$1,800 a month for professional local SEO across several cities.

What we charge

We publish our prices so you can compare. Our roofing websites are $2,500 for Starter (up to 6 pages), $5,000 for Growth (up to 15 pages, with service and city pages written for you) and $9,500+ for Premium (25+ pages, storm pages and an instant-estimate tool). Monthly plans start at $199. See the full breakdown on our pricing page.

How to choose

  • If you work one town and mostly get work by referral, a small, fast site is enough.
  • If you serve several towns and want Google to send you jobs, budget for service and city pages.
  • If storm work is a big part of your year, plan for storm landing pages from day one.
  • Whatever you choose, make sure you own the domain and the website.
